Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. O Mary, Virgin most powerful and Mother of Mercy, Queen of Heaven and Refuge of Sinners,

noi fermamente ci consacriamo al vostro cuore immacolato. Vi consacriamo tutto il nostro essere e tutta la nostra vita. 

we consecrate ourselves to thy Immaculate Heart. We consecrate to thee our very being and our whole life:

Tutto cio' che abbiamo, tutto cio' che amiamo , tutto cio' che siamo. I nostri corpi, i nostri cuori, le anime nostre.

  all that we have, all that we love, all that we are. To thee we give our bodies, our hearts, and our souls;

A voi consacriamo i nostri focolari, le nostre famiglie, la nostra patria. Noi vogliamo che tutto cio' che è in noi, tutto cio' che è attorno  a noi

 to thee we give our homes, our families and our country. We desire that all that is in us and around us

vi appartenga e partecipi ai benefici delle vostre benedizioni materne. E affinchè  questa consacrazione sia davvero efficace e duratura

may belong to thee and may share in the benefits of thy motherly blessing. And, that this act of consecration may be truly fruitful and lasting,

rinnoviamo oggi le promesse del nostro battesimo e della nostra prima comunione.  Noi ci impegnamo di professare sempre coraggiosamente la verita' della fede,

 we renew this day at thy feet the promises of our Baptism and our First Communion. We pledge ourselves to profess courageously and at all times the truths of our Faith,

di vivere da veri cattolici, pienamente sottomessi a tutte le direttive del pontefice e dei vescovi in comunione con lui.

 and to live as befits Catholics, who are submissive to all directions of the Pope and the bishops in communion with him.
